Can you believe some of the expression these days?
This poster greatly appreciates many Conservative voices...However, I continue to have grave concerns with much of the cynical hysteria, often creating misleading perceptions.
The all powerful EIB noted the self destructive demeanor today. Focusing on some misguided Conservative Bloggers, who have apparently lost perspective,
and believe Republicans deserve to lose.It is simply absurd.
"Well, I hate to say I told you so. But I told you so."The amazing Ms. Malkin, began as a reporter to become a highly visible Conservative Advocate. She is a treasure. This poster sincerely appreciates her ambition, her strength, and her fine intelligence.
However, Ms. Malkin tends to be negative. She has led a constant drone of disapproval for much of the Republican effort. Frustration is understandable, and all forms of conjecture is healthy and welcome. But, an overt cynical nature can overwhelm reason and objectivity.
Sometimes, this famous Blogger doesn't seem pleased with those who are governing, even when their actions serve her interest. I do not believe Ms. Malkin would advocate for the loss of the Republican Majority. Yet, it can be hard to distinguish between Ms. Malkin's disdain for the unethical Liberal Deceit, and the varied imperfections within the GOP.
How can anyone forget, perfection is an ideal, far from human?Regardless, the overt negative slant, often produces a premature preception, believing the worst without significant basis.
In this case, the mighty Ms. Malkin jumped again, while assessing whether Our President would be signing the Secure Fence Act:
'Update: 10/1012:57am. Sigh. The perils of blogging while traveling. It looks like Mickey was wrong-- and I was wrong to pull out a premature I-told-you-so on the pocket veto claim. And this one item won't be a reason for sitting out the election. Xrlq lays into me. Point taken, though nothing he says rebuts my argument that many other more immediate immigration enforcement steps could and should have been taken ahead of this fence gesture. Ed Morrissey has more on how the actual signing is being delayed until closer to election time.
Which is the problem with the GOP's immigration strategy-always putting politics above actual enforcement.***'Instead of simply stating
"I was wrong", a number of excuses were offered in the process. Cynics are rarely wrong. But someone of this fine stature remains deeply influential, and should be more careful. Most likely, the misrepresentation was ingrained for her many readers. But, we hardly see a fair celebration of the Republicans in the House and Senate, who provided the favorable Act after listening to their Base, which the President signed.
Republican National Committee e-campaign director Patrick Ruffini wrote us and others yesterday to assure us that President Bush would sign the Secure Fence Act:
There has been some speculation in the blogosphere today that President Bush would not sign the Secure Fence Act, after signing a bill for funding border fencing last week. This is not the case. President Bush will sign the Secure Fence Act.It is very easy to judge, having never governed. This massive bureaucracy is very difficult to manage. It takes time, patience, and resolve. Many, who make a living criticizing others, have lost all objective perspective.
Once, the impressive John Derbyshire became so frustrated, he declared on NRO's Corner, that Hillary Rodham Clinton would be an ideal Commander. His sarcasm is well noted, but this was no joke. Mr. Derbyshire repeatedly suggested Ms. Clinton's
'cold blooded nature' could be useful in fighting the GWOT.
It was ridiculous. Ms. Rodham is at odds with Mr. Derbyshire's convictions. Hillary only deploys her brutality with her domestic political opposition, and has a history of appeasing dangerous foreign threats. Ironically, only a few days after Ms. Derbyshire's advocation for a return to the Clinton facade,
Hillary Rodham declared her desire to further appease North Korea. The bizarre expression of some Elite Pundits, can amaze the rest of us, living in the real world.
How can so many, forget all the positives since 2000?Tax Relief, Tort Reform, Bankruptcy Reform, Conservative Judicial Appointments (* including Alito, Brown, Roberts, etc.), rejecting Kyoto, rebuking International Courts, strengthening our Military (* including substantial pay increases), the Patriot Act, crushing the Taliban, removing Saddam, eliminating Zarqawi, etc...Do they remember, Liberal Democrats want the opposite?Imagine, how the Legendary Gipper would react to the delusional
"How to Win by Losing" by the savvy Mr. Ramesh Ponnuru.
The entire premise is ludicrous. For example, politicians tend to embrace what is successful in elections. If a Liberal Democrat, or RHINO, gains at the voting booth, they will become more empowered. Politicians often adopt the message of the victor.
Sorry, Mr. Ponnuru's grasp of competition is misguided. I question whether he toiled on the playground long enough. Losing rarely inspires later victories, greater energy, or encourage a more sound policy. It is more likely, to do the opposite.
Concluding the 2 parties are the same is as misguided. They are not... Ms. Ginsberg's presence on the Supreme Court, should be a sincere warning, for anyone who seems confused.
Many of these high profile Pundits, dreaming of the ideal, may have forgotten the most essential. The Republican Majority does produce a truly desired result, importantly blocking the negligence of the Liberal Democrat Party.
Personal needs, the desires of a few, may have blinded many to the larger context of what is best for this amazing Country.
The modern Liberal Democrat Party continues to be working against this Country's interests.
'Laying down' for this form of insanity, is just another form of self destructive madness.
Regardless, can anyone imagine MacCarther, Patton, Sherman, or Grant, suggesting they adopt a strategy of empowering their enemy? Imagine giving the opposition control, hoping for growing
'unrest', to inspire some future victory? All the while, subjecting the USA to mindless suffering?
Such foolishness is really working quite well in Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, Iran, etc...PS:Many of the Elite Pundits (* deemed all knowing), who are pushing for GOP doom this Fall, stated with absolute conviction, Mr. Olmert would be removed in Israel. I do not doubt this is possible, but so far it hasn't happened.
Considering the essential elections this November, perhaps overt, arrogant,
'convictional wisdom', can be wrong...
