How Pathetic Can It Get?

OUTRAGEOUS

The mighty Powerline:
'Sixty-seven Democrats who voted in March for a Progressive Caucus amendment to the budget resolution (H Con Res 99) that would cut defense spending by 21 percent and shift the money to domestic priorities successfully lobbied the Appropriations Committee this summer to add their local projects to the defense-spending measure (HR 3222), which the House passed Aug. 5. They obtained $485 million worth of programs not sought by the military, including missile launchers, blimps and self-inflating sleep pads, according to data compiled by Taxpayers for Common Sense, a nonpartisan research group.'
"Among these hypocrites are Dennis Kucinich, Maxine Waters, Barney Frank, Jim McDermott, John Lewis, and Keith Ellison..."

So, have you had enough of the negligent Democrat Party?

Not only are they dishonest, they steal from taxpayers.

Besides providing endless investigations designed to criminalize their political opposition, obsessive desires to oppress the American Public with massive taxation, the misguided willingness to appease any sincere threat to the Free World, Democrats try to exploit the same Military Institution they despise.

Our Armed Services deserve better.

We all do...

And the corrupt Hillary Clinton wants to 'take things away' from us.

Mr. Hsu Needs A Vacation

Can we get a little Congressional Investigation?
'Top Dem Fundraiser Turns Himself In'

"A top Democratic fundraiser wanted as a fugitive in California turned himself in Friday to face a grand theft charge.

San Mateo County Superior Court Judge H. James Ellis ordered Norman Hsu handcuffed and held on $2 million bond. A bail hearing was scheduled for Sept. 5, at which the judge will consider reducing his bail to $1 million.

Hsu appeared in court accompanied by a lawyer and publicist, both of whom declined to say whether the New York apparel executive would immediately post bail. A warrant was issued for his arrest after he skipped the sentencing for a 1991 grand theft charge.

In the ensuing years, Hsu became a top donor to numerous Democratic candidates and was a fundraiser for presidential contender Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton."

Why was Mr. Hsu placed on the board of trustees of the very Liberal 'New School', and why did The New School receive a federal appropriation secured by Hillary Clinton last year?

Smells wonderful...

By the way, could we ask Mr. Hsu what happened to the 'original' Rose Law Firm Billing Records?

Sure, we know he wasn't involved in corrupt deals with Bill and Hillary back then, but who knows, maybe the crook is psychic.

Memories...
"For example, the records, which refer to Mrs. Clinton at various points as H.R.C., Hillary Clinton or H. Clinton, show she billed Madison for more than a dozen discussions with an Arkansas businessman, Seth Ward. Mr. Ward played a leading role in one of Madison's largest losses, a $4 million land deal that regulators later criticized the Rose firm for helping structure. Mr. Ward is the father-in-law of the former associate attorney general, Webster L. Hubbell, who was also a partner in the Rose firm.

The release of the records is the latest of several instances in which the Clinton White House has declared a document search to be exhaustive, only to later stumble on important material. For example, White House officials initially said that Vincent W. Foster Jr., the deputy White House counsel, left no indication of why he committed suicide on July 20, 1993. But later, an aide found the remnants of a note describing Mr. Foster's disenchantment with Washington."

The Big Picture

The mighty VDH:
"And what is our stance? The United States calmly continues to arrest and “detain” Iranian agents inside Iraq — acts, of course, that enrage a kidnapping Iran. Apparently the only thing galling to an Iranian hostage-taker is the very idea that someone else would try such a thing openly and publicly and within the bounds of the rules of war. And by labeling the Revolutionary Guards Corps a terrorist organization, the United States is finally institutionalizing what the world already knows: Iran is a criminal state whose government and terrorists are one and the same.

There is also the ever-present, ever-unreliable news out of Iran itself of gas rationing, strikes, and a deteriorating economy. If all that good for us/bad for them news is true — with oil prices still sky-high, and sanctions as yet weak and porous — then it suggests that should financial ostracism be stepped up and become really punitive, and oil recede in price by even a few dollars, the regime would face widespread disobedience.

It would help things if Western elites started seeing Iran as Darfur. Teheran has butchered thousands of its own, kills the innocent in Iraq, and has stated that it would like to see the equivalent of a second Holocaust — all surely some grounds for at least a dig from Bono or a frown from Brad Pitt.

It doesn’t help Ahmadinejad that his supposedly successful, rocket-propelled proxy war against Israel a year ago, not only was not followed up by a round-two jihad this season, but seems on careful autopsy to have been a costly blunder that nearly destroyed the infrastructure of his southern Lebanese allies. No Iranian in gas line wants to learn that his scrimping went to pay for rebuilding the atomized apartment buildings of Arabs in Lebanon..."

Remember, a number of the biggest Conservative pundits, even Mr. Kruthammer, Ms. Glick, etc., claimed Israel suffered an embarrassing defeat during it's incursion into Southern Lebanon.

'Conventional Wisdom Is Often Wrong'

Some of them bizarrely blamed the Bush Administration for the deemed poor performance of Israeli Armed Forces.

Shouldn't someone ask these Elite Pundits, who never managed War themselves, why PM Olmert is still in Office?

Beware of the critic's ego...

The Big Joke

More Clinton Comedy...
"Hillary Clinton said today that her presidential campaign will be more careful about vetting donors after discovering that a major fund-raiser is wanted by California authorities in connection with a fraud case. In some of her first public comments about the controversy swirling around fund-raiser Norman Hsu, Clinton also said the campaign would return any of the contributions that Hsu raised from other donors if they turned out to be tainted..."

SURE

The joke is on us again.

More lies from an unethical narcissist, who claimed for years she was named after an unknown beekeeper.

Will Hillary donate some of this money to Bill's Library?

(Now that she has been busted again...)

What 'charity' is she referring too?

Where are those Congressional investigations?

How about a NY Times special report?

What did Sandy stuff down his pants anyhow?

If Mr. Hsu wanted to buy a potential pardon, he was in the proper market schmoozing the ugly Clintons, for they love to peddle...
"A court-appointed bankruptcy trustee asked a federal judge this week to schedule a new court date in a case against Tony Rodham, the brother of Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., accused of failing to repay $109,000 in loans from a carnival company whose owners received controversial pardons issued by President Bill Clinton in the last hours of his presidency."

Even worse...
Asked by talk-show host David Letterman if Bill Clinton could serve as her vice president should she be elected to the White House, the former first lady acknowledged that he could not.

"Believe me," she joked, "he looked into that."

She also remarked that if the Constitution didn't forbid a president from a third term, "he might be running."

'Gross domestic product rose at a 4 percent annual rate in the second quarter, the Commerce Department said in Washington, up from an initial estimate of 3.4 percent...'

The US Economy continues to rock...

Low 4.6% unemployment, healthy growth, income rising, etc.

And Hillary Clinton wants to take things away from us...

The Manipulation Confronted

The mighty Mr. Mark Finkelstein of NB:
DELAY: Well, I hate to say this Matt, but you just showed the problem, the double-standard, and you just participated in it. You listed a whole lot of scandals that involve the Republicans but you didn't mention one Democrat.

In response, and throughout the ensuing exchange, Lauer clung to the fig leaf of his "bad apple" query.

LAUER: But you didn't hear me. I also just said do we only have two bad apples or is there a case of an entire party embroiled in scandal?

DELAY: I think in your premise if you had listed all the Democrats that are having problems right now it would have been different. You see the Democrats re-elect the people with their problems; the Republicans kick them out. If you look at what's going on, it's how you handle it as a party and as a political group.

And later . . .

DELAY: The double-standard in the media is amazing. The feeding frenzy, the sharks in the water that's going on right now because of a Republican. Where is the frenzy on Alan Mollohan from West Virginia or William Jefferson from Louisiana?

LAUER: I think you mentioned William Jefferson. There was an awful lot of coverage of William Jefferson when that story broke, congressman.

DELAY: Yeah, for just a couple of days and then we went on. In the case of a Republican, believe me I've experienced this, it's day in and day out in the media, and they write this story over and over and over again. We all know the double-standard in the media -- it's amazing.

LAUER: I'm not going to let it, you know, end with that assumption, congressman, because I clearly don't agree with it, but why don't we just say . . .

DELAY: You exhibited it, Matt!
...

LAUER: Well we're talking about the Republican party. You just said, I invited you on to talk about the GOP.

DELAY: Because you don't want to talk about the Democrats.

LAUER: And I also started, congressman, and then said "is this a misperception that there is a party embroiled in scandal when we may just have two bad apples?" That's exactly how I started my first question.

DELAY: No, you started the first question by listing a bunch of Republicans and didn't mention one Democrat.

LAUER: Because we're talking --

DELAY: About the situation that's going on in Washington today and including both Democrats and Republicans. There are scandals that need to be addressed. Republicans address them, Democrats re-elect them.

LAUER: Alright congressman, I'll let you have the last word. It's good to have you on.

DELAY: Thank you.

GREAT NEWS

YE OLD SONG AND DANCE

Sounds familiar:
'The Wall Street Journal reported that a modest home in a middle-class San Francisco suburb, where the family of mail carrier William Paw resides, is listed as the address for many contributions to the Clinton campaign. Mr. Hsu once listed the home as his address, according to public records, and the Paws' donations closely tracked his.'

Uh oh:
Hillary Fundraiser Hsu Wanted For Grand Theft

'California authorities have sought businessman Norman Hsu for 15 years. Since 2004, he has carved out a place of honor raising cash for such candidates as Hillary Rodham Clinton...

...For the last 15 years, California authorities have been trying to figure out what happened to a businessman named Norman Hsu, who pleaded no contest to grand theft, agreed to serve up to three years in prison and then seemed to vanish.'

LIBERAL SOCIAL ACIDS

An essential read...
'It didn't happen overnight. Breaking down a strong culture of civic self-control takes time and several social acids.

The first such acid was the cultural liberalism generally associated with the 1960s: the attempt to free people from irksome traditional moral customs and the laws that reflected them.

Anthony Jay has recently described how the "media liberalism" of the BBC - an institution founded in part to promote social virtues and British institutions - increasingly undermined them all: from military valour to the monarchy.

Assuredly, this revolution had its worthwhile side, especially for the educated and prosperous. Britain today is a freer and more relaxed society with less supervision from maiden aunts and aldermen than in 1955.

Combined with a welfare state that picked up the tab, however, cultural liberalism promoted social irresponsibility - more voluntary workless, more divorces, children with fewer opportunities because they live in homes without two parents, a growing underclass, a society that is cruder, more disordered, less gentle.

Less neighbourly, too, because of the second social acid: the ethnic and religious diversity introduced by mass immigration.

You may be surprised to learn that "diversity", which is usually discussed as an undeniable social good, has any drawbacks. But Robert Puttnam, an American social scientist, has established from a major survey (and to his own distress) that ethnic diversity makes people less trustful of each other.

Worse, people feel this distrust towards those from their own ethnic group as well as towards "the Other". Diversity, it transpires, is a recipe for bad neighbourliness.

This growing distrust might have been lessened, even overcome, by an effective policy of American-style "assimilation" - that is, getting everyone to think of themselves as "British first" and to embrace a common British history and culture. That policy worked well in the US until the 1970s.

Instead government promoted the third acid: a "multiculturalism" that encourages minorities to retain their culture and identity. Thus, our rulers set out, eager and well-intentioned, to maximise the differences and therefore the tensions inherent in diversity.

America has so far avoided the worst effects of its own multiculturalism because it has a proud national identity. Most immigrants still want to become Americans as they once wished to become British.

Except for the Thatcher years, however, the British establishment, from a blend of multiculturalism and Europeanism, drained all pride and meaning out of Britishness. No one, not even the Scots, wants to assimilate to a nullity.

The result is a fractured, distrustful and disorderly society. And because a diverse society lacks agreed values and standards, governments regulate the behaviour of all, including the law-abiding, to maintain social peace.'

Thank You Mr. Gonzales

The President of the USA:
"Al Gonzales is a man of integrity, decency and principle, and I have reluctantly accepted his resignation with great appreciation for the service that he has provided for our country.

As attorney general and before that as White House counsel, Al Gonzales has played a critical role in shaping our policies in the war on terror and has worked tirelessly to make this country safer. The Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act and other important laws bear his imprint.

Under his leadership, the Justice Department has made a priority of protecting children from Internet predators, made enforcement of civil rights laws a top priority. He aggressively and successfully pursued public corruption and effectively combated gang violence.

As attorney general, he played an important role in helping to confirm two fine jurists in Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito.

...After months of unfair treatment, that has created a harmful distraction at the Justice Department, Judge Gonzales decided to resign his position and I accept his decision.

It's sad that we live in a time when a talented and honorable person like Alberto Gonzales is impeding from doing important work because his good name was dragged through the mud for political reasons..."

Many have missed the important big picture again, as the smaller obsessions have warped the larger conception.

Some very poor testimony regarding a delegated issue, has only empowered the efforts of an unethical few in Washington.

This sets a very high standard for the future.

Someone can now be debased having a few imperfections, even if they are incredibly sound in policy for the most essential issues.

The Elite Punditry, the Bloggers, the Cynics, the Jaded continue to undermine their own interests, failing to grasp how their own missing objectivity impacts the larger context.

Few of the most adamant can claim to have held such a challenging position, and only ONE other has managed this Office during the Post-9-11 Era while fighting the GWOT.

If Conservatives continue to throw away an entire Automobile for a few scratches on the paint and a dent in the fender, (like some foolishly advocating abandoning the GOP), this Country will no longer be going anywhere.

Some have mindlessly placed Schumer and Leahy in the drivers seat on this minor issue, and they better hope their destination is in our Nation's best interest.

UPDATE: The mighty Mr. Hewitt:
"What the Democrats-in-denial-about-the-war think or promise shouldn't matter one bit in the selection of the next nominee. If the president nominates the right individual, the confirmation hearings will be a great thing to watch unfold regardless of what the Democrats do or say."

The Comedy Continues

“There are American officials who consider Iraq as if it were one of their villages, for example Hillary Clinton and Carl Levin,” - Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki

Classic...

Wasn't Ms. Rodham recently suggesting Mr. Obama is naive,
in regards to important diplomatic endeavors?

'Hillary Rodham Clinton is going to be the Democratic nominee and that could be the GOP’s saving grace in an otherwise uphill battle.'

The mighty Drudge has more...
A top adviser for Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) said Friday that Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), the front - runner for her party’s presidential nomination, is obsessed “with what she calls the Republican attack machine.”

“...we need a candidate who is obsessed with unifying this country...”

Ouch...

Not only is this an excellent political message, it is quite accurate regarding the divisive, unethical Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Run Hillary Run !

UPDATE: The 'con' continues...
'Today the UPI news service published a story aimed at making Hillary Clinton out to be a victim of "swift boating" and "haters" by focusing on those who are gearing up to oppose her candidacy for president on the Internet. UPI dismisses all opposition to Hillary as "old news," and "rumors," calls anti-Clinton forces "snide" and "haters," but what do they say of the target? All they say is she is "ready to fight back" as if she is a stalwart hero waiting to defend her honor.'

Mrs. Clinton Revealed Again

The mighty Captain says it quite well...
"No one would benefit from a terrorist attack on the US...

...From a purely political point of view, the question demeans the audience to which it was asked and exposes the poser as the poseur she is. Most hilariously, she used this hypothetical to explain how she deals with negative attacks from Republicans. It's hard to get more negative - and more foolish - than to speculate that a terrorist attack would give the GOP an advantage, and that she's prepared to take political advantage of the situation should it arise.

It's an asinine statement. It shows what happens when Hillary gets away from her handlers and starts talking on her own. The only relation she has to her husband's political sense is her last name."

How low can she go?
Likewise, New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson said in a statement, "We shouldn't be thinking about terrorism in terms of its domestic political consequences, we should be protecting the country from terrorists."

Connecticut Sen. Chris Dodd, said in his own statement, "Frankly, I find it tasteless to discuss political implications when talking about a potential terrorist attack on the United States."

Calls to the Clinton campaign for a response to the criticism were not immediately returned Friday night.

By the way, the delusion is growing...
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton says her political negatives are a "blessing."

Speaking at a house party in Concord, N.H, the Democratic front-runner for the 2008 presidential nomination said she's been in the spotlight for so long that there's nothing left for her opponents to dig up and smear her with.

"The tactics... will be to drive up the negatives of whoever our nominee is, and it will all be fresh information," said Clinton, according to the Boston Globe. "It will all be, 'Oh you didn't know? Let us tell you. Let us paint a caricature...' Whereas I have the somewhat mixed, but I think rather fortunate blessing, of already starting with those negatives."

OUCH

DONKS

Giggle Giggle

Truly amusing...
"The American people deserve to know that their presidency is not for sale. The Lincoln Bedroom is not for rent," Edwards said to applause, referencing a Clinton-era controversy in which high-dollar donors were allowed to stay in the White House's famed bedroom.

Edwards said the past isn't going to solve today's problems or "a corrupt a corroded system."

"Those wed to the policies of the '70s, '80s or the '90s are wedded to the past, ideas and policies that are tired, shopworn and obsolete. We will find no answers there," he said.

Clinton served as first lady during most of the 1990s.

Edwards later said he didn't mean to target Clinton during his new stump speech, but her campaign felt otherwise.

"Angry attacks on other Democrats won't improve Senator Edwards' flagging campaign," said Clinton spokeswoman Kathleen Strand. "Senator Clinton has the leadership and experience to make real change happen, and she has been fighting for American families for 35 years."

Edwards said voters have a choice: "Either move forward boldly into the future for our children ... or the alternative, which is to stay in the same stale direction, which we've been traveling in the recent past."

The Clinton Negligence

The mighty Captain:
"The report also criticized intelligence problems when Bill Clinton was president, detailing political and legal “constraints” agency officials felt in the late 1990s. In September 2006, during a famous encounter with Fox News anchor Wallace, Clinton erupted in anger and waived his finger when asked about whether his administration had done enough to get bin Laden. “What did I do? What did I do?” Clinton said at one point. “I worked hard to try to kill him. I authorized a finding for the CIA to kill him. We contracted with people to kill him. I got closer to killing him than anybody has gotten since.”

Clinton appeared to have been referring to a December 1999 Memorandum of Notification (MON) he signed that authorized the CIA to use lethal force to capture, not kill, bin Laden."

Ah, the old Clinton deceit revealed again...

Lifelike Pundits arrived on the issue quickly:
"The CIA’s analysis of al-Qaida before Sept. 2001 was lacking. No comprehensive report focusing on bin Laden was written after 1993, and no comprehensive report laying out the threats of 2001 was assembled. “A number of important issues were covered insufficiently or not at all,” the report found."

It is no surprise, we know the Clintons neglected to address the biggest threat to the USA and the Free World throughout 90's.

The new president's reaction seemed almost disengaged. He warned Americans against "overreacting" and, in an interview on MTV, described the bombing as the work of someone who "did something really stupid."

One can create a thesis on the evidence, that 9-11 might have been prevented if the Clinton Administration had never existed.

WHO WAS PRESIDENT WHEN ALL THIS HAPPENED ANYHOW?

Sadly, after the first attack on the WTC in 1993, the Clintons were foolishly undermining US National Security, building idiotic Gorelick Walls, peddling the Torricelli-Clinton 'Agent Scrub', crushing essential Defense Budgets, embracing pathetic Terrorists, appeasing nutty Dictatorships, etc...

It is a sincere American tragedy.

"In 1993, bin Laden issued a fatwa (religious edict) calling for Somalis to attack U.S. forces and drive them out of the country. He dispatched several lieutenants, including Mohammed Atef, who is believed to have helped plan the September 11 attacks, to help train Somalis in military and terrorist tactics."

"...Bin Laden later claimed responsibility for the deaths of the 18 U.S. soldiers in Mogadishu. In a 1997 interview with CNN, he gloated that al-Qaeda had trained and organized the Somali fighters who did the actual fighting. Al-Qaeda members are suspected of teaching General Aideed's militia how to shoot down U.S. helicopters by altering the fuses of rocket-propelled grenades so that they exploded in mid-air. This tactic, developed by the Afghan mujahideen (holy warriors) in their war against the Soviets, was the same one al-Qaeda forces used to bring down two U.S. helicopters near Gardez, Afghanistan, during Operation Anaconda in early March 2002."

"...The ignominious collapse of the U.S. peacekeeping mission in Somalia after October 1993 undoubtedly led bin Laden to conclude that "you go kill a few Americans and they go away," as one expert described it. This also reinforced his contempt for American staying power and fueled his ambitions to use terrorism to drive American influence out of the Muslim world: If the deaths of 18 soldiers could cause the withdrawal of 25,000 U.S. troops from Somalia, bin Laden had reason to believe that killing more Americans could lead to a similar pullout from Saudi Arabia."

It is most concerning today, as many within the Democrat Party are eager to return to the days of the ugly Clinton Malfeasance.

Hillary is eager to take things away from us...

And the Terrorists would be thrilled to see it happen.

Painful Memories

The mighty Mr. Hewitt:
'This is the ghost haunting the anti-war left, and the left shudders and screams whenever it floats into the room. All those millions of Cambodians didn't have to die, and all those Boat People didn't have to sail into death or exile. The Kennedys didn't have to topple Diem any more than Senators Levin and Clinton have to work to force the toppling the Maliki. And the Democratic Congress elected in 1974 didn't have to abandon South Vietnam to North Vietnam.

America's Vietnam policy of intervention, manipulation, and then withdrawal represented a series of choices. The Democrats of those years, urged on by a hard left anti-war front, finally made a choice to leave, a choice with awful consequences.

This is the crucial point: The Democratic Party and their supporters made that choice, cheered on by the anti-war left. They own the consequences.'

Does Code Pink care about consequences?

Or, just interested in vilifying Republicans?

Maybe they are only concerned about their power...
'Democrats are now playing with fire when it comes to Iraq.

The Iraq War may have helped the Democrats win Congress in 2006, but now developments both in Iraq and here at home are putting the Democrats — and especially Hillary Clinton — in a position where they might try to redefine "victory" and "defeat" to help their political fortunes at the expense of our national interest, to our nation's shame.'

Good News

From the mighty Captain:
The leader of Iraq's banned Baath party, Izzat Ibrahim al-Douri, has decided to join efforts by the Iraqi authorities to fight al-Qaeda, one of the party's former top officials, Abu Wisam al-Jashaami, told pan-Arab daily Al Hayat. "AlDouri has decided to sever ties with al-Qaeda and sign up to the programme of the national resistance, which includes routing Islamist terrorists and opening up dialogue with the Baghdad government and foreign forces," al-Jashaami said.

Positive signs continue to appear...

We shall see about this latest bit of information.

Long ago, after 9-11, it became quite clear the USA had to lead the World in forcing change in the Arab Region.

This was not going to be easy, and could never have been accomplished with additional efforts of enabling appeasement.

The Bush Administration wisely grasped the essential need for a serious intervention in the Middle East.

The removal of dangerous threats, who provide oppression, instability, and inspire radical alternatives became a priority.

Bringing Saddam to justice and ending the Nightmare's brutal legacy, (which included demented rewards for suicide bombers in Israel), was a sound choice after removing the Taliban from power.

Now, the al Qaeda training camps are no longer in operation in Afghanistan, and a Free Democracy allied with the Free World is now growing between Syria and Iran.

We remain amazed at the strength, professionalism, courage, brilliance of those who bravely implemented a strong policy in such a difficult environment.

The US Armed Forces are simply remarkable...

Truly thankful for the various Allies who shared this enormous challenge, including Great Britain, Australia, Poland, Romania, South Korea, Italy, Spain, etc., etc...

Liberal Democrats have responded to this incredible sacrifice for Freedom, bringing Liberty to Millions, battling Monsters intent upon destroying the Free West, with contempt, sabotage, slander, denial, and exploitation.

It is truly regretful.

But with hope, resolve, leadership, the Iraqi People will have a sincere humane future, providing a sane alternative to the horrors of the past, rejecting the hideous Muslim Radicals who promote death throughout the World.

The painful job is far from finished, but the promise is vast.

THANK YOU MR. PRESIDENT

LEADERSHIP:
'...Whatever your position is on that debate, one unmistakable legacy of Vietnam is that the price of America's withdrawal was paid by millions of innocent citizens whose agonies would add to our vocabulary new terms like "boat people," "re-education camps," and "killing fields."

There was another price to our withdrawal from Vietnam, and we can hear it in the words of the enemy we face in today's struggle - those who came to our soil and killed thousands of citizens on September the 11th, 2001. In an interview with a Pakistani newspaper after the 9/11 attacks, Osama bin Laden declared that "the American people had risen against their government's war in Vietnam. And they must do the same today."

His number two man, Zawahiri, has also invoked Vietnam. In a letter to al Qaeda's chief of operations in Iraq, Zawahiri pointed to "the aftermath of the collapse of the American power in Vietnam and how they ran and left their agents."

Zawahiri later returned to this theme, declaring that the Americans "know better than others that there is no hope in victory. The Vietnam specter is closing every outlet." Here at home, some can argue our withdrawal from Vietnam carried no price to American credibility - but the terrorists see it differently.

We must remember the words of the enemy. We must listen to what they say. Bin Laden has declared that "the war [in Iraq] is for you or us to win. If we win it, it means your disgrace and defeat forever." Iraq is one of several fronts in the war on terror - but it's the central front - it's the central front for the enemy that attacked us and wants to attack us again. And it's the central front for the United States and to withdraw without getting the job done would be devastating. (Applause.)

If we were to abandon the Iraqi people, the terrorists would be emboldened, and use their victory to gain new recruits. As we saw on September the 11th, a terrorist safe haven on the other side of the world can bring death and destruction to the streets of our own cities. Unlike in Vietnam, if we withdraw before the job is done, this enemy will follow us home. And that is why, for the security of the United States of America, we must defeat them overseas so we do not face them in the United States of America.'

DEEPLY FLAWED

“If you can’t run your own house, you can’t run the White House.”

Indeed...

Ironically, Hillary wants to take things away from the American Public, to empower the Liberal Democrat Dream, hoping to force an oppressive governmental monopoly upon the USA.

A mindless agenda increasing the power of the few over the many.

Imagine someone as cold as Mrs. Clinton, so deeply flawed, addicted to deceit, disturbed by endless personal problems, public failures, family dysfunctions, given the authority to hold dominion over the Freedom of Americans?

Enabling The Problem

Via the amazing Woman Honor Thyself:
'NEW YORK — A planned Ar-abic-themed public school in Brooklyn has prompted polarized reactions. Critics warned Monday that students could be “indoctrinated” with radical Is-lamic beliefs and supporters called such statements “racist.”

Groups Rally For and Against Planned Arabic-Themed Public School in Brooklyn New York Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn) said the school’s children could be “indoctrinated” and warned in a statement that “establishment of an Ar-ab school is a misguided and dangerous idea.” He wrote a letter to Schools Chancellor Joel Klein to protest the school’s opening.'

Provided by the same Liberal Partisans, who continue to scream violently about the conception of having prayer in school.

Very concerning indeed.

The Definition Of The Word "We"

Wait...

Has Ms. Rodham forgotten, she labeled the endeavor to bring liberty to Millions of Iraqis, the needed fight against al Qaeda in the heart of the Arab Region, as "George Bush's War"?

Where is this 'we' coming from?

Recently, an article written by some Democrats was seized upon by many, offering an admission of the impressive progress in Iraq.

"A War We Just Might Win"

This poster found it quite amusing...

Did you notice these Liberal Partisans are suddenly including themselves, in a possessive sense, implying participation in the mission in Iraq?

It seems when Iraq is perceived in a positive manner, these unethical Democrats employ ownership implications by using the subtle pronoun 'we', while referencing this essential battle in the GWOT.

How quickly can the liars spin?
CBS: "You were among those who advocated going to war in Iraq...
Clinton: "I did not advocate that..."

Or is it squirm?
"I fully support our troops" but the measure "fails to compel the President to give our troops a new strategy in Iraq," said Clinton.

Has Ms. Rodham changed her mind yet again?
"Hillary Clinton calls on Congress to repeal Iraq War Authorization."

Hillary Clinton is a flop, who voted against funding the effort, repeatedly debased the mission (as well as those who bravely are implementing her previous endorsement of the policy), and now tries to name the admirable endeavor as "Bush's War".

Today, 'we' remarkably share in the heroic effort.
(* What happened to the term 'these people'?)

Tomorrow, it will be another 'invisible' right wing conspiracy.

Hillary will say anything.
It could not be more pathetic.

IN RELATION UPDATE: Via the mighty Sweetness & Light:
Democrats who had hesitated to vote for timetables and various withdrawal schemes “are going to be even more hesitant now..."

“It will be the Democratic left, which is probably immune to any news of success in Iraq, against the middle-of-the-road America,” said Matthew Woessner, a political expert at Pennsylvania State University.

“A nightmare scenario for any party is when the pressure, the sum total of the pressures from their constituency groups, are out of step with mainstream America. That’s a prescription for electoral disaster...”

Devoted to Failure

The brilliant Mr. Sowell:
Despite whatever the left may say, or even believe, about their concern for the poor, their actual behavior shows their interest in the poor to be greatest when the poor can be used as a focus of the Left's denunciations of society.

When the poor stop being poor, they lose the attention of the Left. What actions on the part of the poor, or what changes in the economy, have led to drastic reductions in poverty seldom arouse much curiosity, much less celebration.

This is not a new development in our times. Back in the 19th century, when Karl Marx presented his vision of the impoverished working class rising to attack and destroy capitalism, he was disappointed when the workers grew less revolutionary over time, as their standards of living improved.

At one point, Marx wrote to his disciples: “The working class is revolutionary or it is nothing.”

Think about that. Millions of human beings mattered to him only in so far as they could serve as cannon fodder in his jihad against the existing society.

If they refused to be pawns in his ideological game, then they were “nothing.”

More Lies From Liberals

The mighty Mr. Finkelstein:
"So what's going on? Stick with me here. The answer is that incomes spiked in 2000 at the height of the internet bubble. When the bubble burst, incomes went down for a couple years. But in 2002, incomes renewed their growth and have risen every year. But average income in 2005, adjusted for inflation, was still slightly below that of 2000: $55,238 in 2005 versus $55,714 in 2000. Note "adjusted for inflation." In other words, the unadjusted income of Americans in 2005 was actually about $60,000, or about $5,000 higher than in 2000. The Times-Globe never told us what the unadjusted 2005 income was: that would have made their case look weaker."

It seems in the land of Democrat Denial, the income of Americans can only rise, when a Democrat is in the White House.

Liberals want to hide reality from Americans.
Anything to empower the tired Democrat Party.

Right now, the USA has an impressive economy, with historically low unemployment (still at 4.6% - which the Clintonites claimed could not go lower than 5.5%), healthy GDP growth, tiny interest rates, low inflation, healthy markets, etc...

All after the horrid attacks of 9-11.

It is a tribute to the amazing Free Market, the brilliance of the American Entrepreneur, the creative imagination of the Individual within the Private Sector, and the empowering affects of Lowering Taxation.

Yet, Democrat Partisans are eager to oppress the American public with increased tax burdens, mindless regulations, and staggering waste.

Hillary wants to take things away from us...

And those within the unethical MSM are willing to endlessly lie, to provide a dishonest narcissist another opportunity to turn the American Dream into another Socialist Disaster.

Tables Turned

You Have Got To Be Kidding

What?
Senator?

We thank you for your incredible Service to your Country, but your tenure in the Senate continues to enable the very worst.

It is long past the time, when you should have reconsidered your political existence.

Mrs. Clinton aired one of the most disgraceful commercials, suggesting American Citizens are 'invisible' to the current President of the USA, including the brave Men and Women in Our Armed Forces.

And John McCain cannot admit this is a flawed Candidate?

Someone who offers massive tax increases, has a vivid history of corruption, cannot be honest in any form, who has voted to undermine the GWOT and the battle for Iraq?

(Iraq, now being John McCain's self declared central issue).

If Senator McCain cannot even provide 'straight talk' about the most ugly opposition, what is the point?

Time for a long vacation...

TREASON

Makes one sick to the stomach:
A small South Carolina parts supplier collected about $20.5 million over six years from the Pentagon for fraudulent shipping costs, including $998,798 for sending two 19-cent washers to an Army base in Texas, U.S. officials said.

The company also billed and was paid $455,009 to ship three machine screws costing $1.31 each to Marines in Habbaniyah, Iraq, and $293,451 to ship an 89-cent split washer to Patrick Air Force Base in Cape Canaveral, Florida, Pentagon records show.

The owners of C&D Distributors in Lexington, South Carolina - twin sisters - exploited a flaw in an automated Defense Department purchasing system: bills for shipping to combat areas or U.S. bases that were labeled "priority" were usually paid automatically, said Cynthia Stroot, a Pentagon investigator.

There is little difference between this criminal effort, and the unethical actions of John Murtha's ugly Democrat Party.

We have witnessed many exploiting this historic Democracy for their own personal greed.

Some even tried to steal furniture from the White House...

"THESE PEOPLE"

Yikes...

Hillary Rodham has blamed her well earned negative perception, on the vast right wing conspiracy yet again.

Such fun.

The Clintons are never responsible for their own existence.

But maybe Americans don't like Hillary, because Ms. Rodham has declared her intent to 'take things away' from them.

Or, is it the tiresome sound of Mrs. Clinton's shrill voice?

This lavish defense in the video above, was the product of a few comments from Mr. Rove, clearly defining the ugly reality of Hillary Clinton's standing with the American Public.

They do not like unethical liars like Ms. Rodham:
"She enters the general election campaign with the highest negatives of any candidate in the history of the Gallup poll," he said.

"It just says people have made an opinion about her. It's hard to change opinions once you've been a high-profile person in the public eye, as she has for 16 or 17 years."

"Sanctuary City"

Mr. Steyn...
Jose Carranza isn't exactly a member of an exclusive club. Violent crime committed by fine upstanding members of the Undocumented - American community is now a routine feature of American life. But who cares? In 2002, as the "Washington Sniper" piled up his body count, "experts" lined up to tell the media that he was most likely an "angry white male," a "macho hunter" or an "icy loner." When the icy loner turned out to be a black Muslim called Muhammad plus an illegal immigrant from Jamaica, the only angry white males around were the lads in America's newsrooms who were noticeably reluctant to

abandon their thesis: Early editions of The New York Times speculated that Muhammad and Malvo were being sought for "possible ties to ‘skinhead militia' groups," which seemed a somewhat improbable alliance given the size of Mr. Muhammad's hair in the only available mugshot. As for his illegal sidekick, John Lee Malvo was detained and released by the INS in breach of their own procedures. America has a high murder rate: Murdering people is definitely one of the jobs Americans can do. But that's what ties young Malvo to Jose Carranza: He's just another killer let loose in this country to kill Americans by the bureaucracy's boundless sensitivity toward the "undocumented."

Wha-a-a ?

This is not inspiring:
The former senator from Tennessee, who is expected to enter the race next month, wants to be the conservative alternative to Rudy Giuliani but refused repeated requests yesterday to rule out raising taxes.

"We are in the process of gradually bankrupting future generations in this country," Thompson said of Social Security and other entitlement programs that will plunge the federal government deeply into debt over the next decade.

What?

How about cutting spending and reforming entitlements?

Well, at least this doesn't sound like a Democrat Senator...
"I am unabashedly pro life, I am pro second amendment, and I don't apologize for the United States of America," Thompson said over cheers and applause.

"This country has shed more blood for the freedom of other people than all the other nations in the history of the world combined, and I'm tired of people feeling like they've got to apologize for America."

Uh oh...
"Fred Thompson Does Not Support A Constitutional Amendment To Ban Gay Marriage."

This Senator has virtually the same voting record as John McCain.

In fact, Fred Thompson was a primary campaign figure in the McCain run for the Presidency of 2000, which strongly opposed tax cuts.

THE UGLY ROTTEN CLINTON GAME

How pathetic are the Clintons?
The White House on Tuesday assailed Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton for criticizing President Bush in her latest television ad, calling her statements "outrageous." The 60-second spot, which began running Tuesday in Iowa, intercuts scenes of the candidate interacting with voters and talking about challenges facing many working people.

"If you're a family that is struggling and you don't have health care, you are invisible to this president," the New York senator says in the ad. "If you're a single mom trying to find affordable child care so you can go to work, you're invisible too.

The ad also argued that U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan are "invisible" to Bush.

White House deputy press secretary Dana Perino initially declined to comment on the ad, but then lambasted the spot and the senator.

"As to the merits of it, I think it's outrageous. This is a president who, first and foremost, has helped millions of seniors across the country have access to prescription drugs at a much lower cost," Perino said. "As to whether or not our troops are invisible to this president, I think that is absurd and that it is unconscionable that a member of Congress would say such a thing."

This is the same Hillary who planned to destroy an Intern, hoping to portray a sex toy of her narcissistic husband, as a misguided stalker.

These are the same people who lied about the Genocide in Rwanda, hiding the ugly reality from the world, as thousands of human beings were being slaughtered.

OUCH

A very interesting read by Ron Fournier of the AP:
Looking past the presidential nomination fight, Democratic leaders quietly fret that Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton at the top of their 2008 ticket could hurt candidates at the bottom.

They say the former first lady may be too polarizing for much of the country. She could jeopardize the party's standing with independent voters and give Republicans who otherwise might stay home on Election Day a reason to vote, they worry.

In more than 40 interviews, Democratic candidates, consultants and party chairs from every region pointed to internal polls that give Clinton strikingly high unfavorable ratings in places with key congressional and state races.

"I'm not sure it would be fatal in Indiana, but she would be a drag" on many candidates, said Democratic state Rep. Dave Crooks of Washington, Ind.

Unlike Crooks, most Democratic leaders agreed to talk frankly about Clinton's political coattails only if they remained anonymous, fearing reprisals from the New York senator's campaign. They all expressed admiration for Clinton, and some said they would publicly support her fierce fight for the nomination - despite privately held fears.

The chairman of a Midwest state party called Clinton a nightmare for congressional and state legislative candidates.

A Democratic congressman from the West, locked in a close re-election fight, said Clinton is the Democratic candidate most likely to cost him his seat.

A strategist with close ties to leaders in Congress said Democratic Senate candidates in competitive races would be strongly urged to distance themselves from Clinton.

"The argument with Hillary right now in some of these red states is she's so damn unpopular," said Andy Arnold, chairman of the Greenville, S.C., Democratic Party. "I think Hillary is someone who could drive folks on the other side out to vote who otherwise wouldn't."

Do these Democrats understand the many valid reasons, as to why Hillary Rodham Clinton is so strongly disliked?

Never Underestimate A Winner

The mighty Mr. Hewitt:
"Mitt Romney laid out a plan for winning the GOP nomination months ago, and it included, raising the most money, winning some or all of the debates, and winning the Ames straw poll as the key steps to setting up strong showings in Iowa and New Hampshire, which would at a minimum keep him in the race through the big February 2 showdown, and which might allow him to land a knock-out blow in South Carolina or Florida.

The plan is rolling out, just like previous Romney plans to turn-around scores of companies, stage a successful Olympics, win the Massachusetts governorship, or reform the health insurance system of the Bay State. Over and over again in Romney's professional life you see the goal identified, then the analysis followed by the plan followed by implementation in a disciplined and ultimately successful fashion. When I wrote the book and focused on his career for a year, this pattern is ghard to miss: Get a good plan. Stick with it. One day at a time, one milestone after another.

Yesterday's Ames vote falls exactly into this pattern as a crucial milestone reached..."

INTERESTING

The infamous Mr. Novak writes:
"Democratic insiders who are not neutral in the presidential race do not take seriously the USA Today/Gallup poll of Democratic voters showing Sen. Hillary Clinton 23 percentage points ahead of Sen. Barack Obama. They contend national surveys are meaningless because outcomes of the early state contests are still critical.

State polls show a virtual three-way tie among Clinton, Obama and former Sen. John Edwards in Iowa's early caucuses. Clinton has only a narrow lead over Obama in New Hampshire's opening primary. Obama has moved slightly ahead in the latest survey for South Carolina, the next primary state.

A footnote: Mitt Romney collects only 6 percent in the USA Today/Gallup national poll of Republicans but leads in Iowa and New Hampshire."

OUTRAGE AND INSANITY

"The principal of a controversial city-funded Arab-themed school abruptly resigned yesterday after she ignited a firestorm by saying there was nothing wrong with T-shirts that said "Intifada NYC."

Pressure for Debbie Almontaser's ouster had mounted all week since her tortured explanation that "intifada" was a message of empowerment. The inflammatory statement was about Arab women in New York City "shaking off oppression" and not supporting the Palestinian uprising that killed thousands, she said."

Simply pathetic...

"But here's the bad news: The Department of Education says it still plans to open the Khalil Gibran International Academy. And Almontaser herself will remain on the DOE payroll in an undetermined role...

As for the school itself, we continue to believe that it's a bad idea - one that runs counter to the notion of public education, which should be about pluralism, not self-segregation and separatism.

City Hall continues to defend the school: Deputy Mayor Dennis Wolcott yesterday insisted it's meant to "prepare students for the global community" by "exposing them to different cultures in our city and the world."

Congratulations Mr. Romney

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney Wins Iowa Straw Poll

“It’s too bad the other guys weren’t competing here... but they‘d have played if they thought they could have won.” Mitt Romney

No guts, no glory.

Getting busy...
Mitt Romney 4516 votes (31.0%)
Mike Huckabee 2587 votes (18.1%)
Sam Brownback 2192 votes (15.3%)
Tom Tancredo 1961 votes (13.7%).
Ron Paul with 1305 votes (9.1%)
Tommy Thompson 1,009 votes (7.3%)
Fred Thompson 231 votes (1.6%)
Rudy Giuliani 183 votes (1.3%)
Duncan Hunter 174 votes (1.2%)
John McCain 101 votes (0.7%)
John Cox 41 votes (0.3%)

"Rumor: Sen. John McCain's Iowa field staff is quietly helping Sen. Sam Brownback recruit supporters for the Ames straw poll. The goal is to drive down Mitt Romney's margin of victory. Similarly, Rudy Giuliani's campaign is quietly helping Mike Huckabee - for exactly the same reason."

Yes, this does not hold major significance, however, as we used to say on the old playing field, 'a win is a win'.

Such fun, as there are many tipping their hat already, rushing to underestimate the event entirely.

"In 1999 the first and second place finishers at the Iowa Straw Poll went on to receive over 70% of the vote in the Iowa Republican Caucuses in January, an indication of the importance that each campaign places on doing well in the Iowa Straw Poll.

The Iowa Straw Poll has also historically winnowed the field of presidential candidates. In 1999 just two days after the Iowa Straw Poll, Lamar Alexander ended his campaign for president after a poor showing at the event. In October of the same year, Elizabeth Dole ended her campaign after not exceeding expectations in the Iowa Straw Poll. While the Iowa Straw Poll is not binding, it has become the first real test of each campaigns organizational strength."

It would be unwise to underestimate an impressive display of organization, commitment, strategy, intelligence, finance, competence, and sound expression in any political event.

"...beginning with the 1999 Ames Straw Poll, all voters were required to show proof of legal residency in Iowa"

THE FRAUD REVEALED AGAIN

'Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton, who chastised rival Barack Obama for ruling out the use of nuclear weapons in the war on terror, did just that when asked about Iran a year ago.

"I would certainly take nuclear weapons off the table," she said in April 2006.'

This poster, just sent a note to a very savvy Conservative Pundit, who mistakenly accepted a recent statement made by Hillary Rodham, as something to be considered credible.

(* She was pretending to be strong in regards to National Security).

Take The Money And Run

Brooklyn

"That's right, Dorothy, you're not in Kansas anymore - you're in Brooklyn!

A tornado touched down in the Borough of Kings yesterday, leaving a path of shredded rooftops, splintered trees and wrecked cars from Bay Ridge to Sunset Park.

The weather phenomenon more often associated with the Midwest than the Big Apple struck just after 6:30 a.m. amid a furious thunderstorm. For several minutes it swept across the southwestern part of Brooklyn with winds as high as 135 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

In all, the storm uprooted 217 trees - 174 in Brooklyn alone - damaged 40 homes and wrecked as many as 200 cars, officials said.

And it dumped as much as 3½ inches of rain in parts of the city in a matter of hours - crippling the city's transportation system and creating a nightmare for commuters trying to get to work."

Liberal Democrats are usually quick to blame the current President for acts of nature, even fantasize about a vast governmental conspiracy.

So it is only fair, to question whether the intense about of deceit from Ms. Royal C, has conjured the wrath of the almighty upon us.

But never fear, Hillary wants to raise your taxes.

The Ugly Pander

LIBERAL LIES EXPOSED AGAIN

Another fake memo revealed:
'THE WEEKLY STANDARD has learned from a military source close to the investigation that Pvt. Scott Thomas Beauchamp–author of the much-disputed “Shock Troops” article in the New Republic’s July 23 issue as well as two previous “Baghdad Diarist” columns–signed a sworn statement admitting that all three articles he published in the New Republic were exaggerations and falsehoods–fabrications containing only “a smidgen of truth,” in the words of our source.

Separately, we received this statement from Major Steven F. Lamb, the deputy Public Affairs Officer for Multi National Division-Baghdad:

An investigation has been completed and the allegations made by PVT Beauchamp were found to be false. His platoon and company were interviewed and no one could substantiate the claims.'

The effort to undermine the mighty US Armed Forces is disgusting.

The bigotry and hatred Democrat Partisans have for a Republican President, as well as for their own Country, has produced the most horrid efforts.

The only way to rebuke this pathetic folly, is to defeat the Democrat Party at the polls in 2008.

More from the amazing Powerline:
'The New Republic didn't bother to verify Beauchamp's stories, apparently because it found them to be self-authenticating: a depiction of America's soldiers that just had to be true. It appears that Beauchamp's yarns will be another chapter in the sad history of "fake, and not accurate, either" news stories. Whether the New Republic can survive this debacle, in view of its history of falling for hoaxes, remains to be seen.'

ANGER MANAGEMENT TIME

'NEWARK, N.J. — In a city where gun violence has become an all too common part of daily life, these shootings were enough to chill even the most hardened residents: Four young friends shot execution-style in a schoolyard just days before they were to head to college.

Three were killed after being forced to kneel against a wall and then shot in the head at close range Saturday night, police said. A girl was found slumped near some bleachers 30 feet away, a gunshot wound to the head but still alive.

The four Newark residents were to attend Delaware State University this fall. No arrests had been made by Monday and authorities had not identified suspects.

The shootings ratcheted up anger in New Jersey's largest city, where the murder rate has risen 50 percent since 1998. The high number of killings have prompted billboards in the downtown area that scream, "HELP WANTED: Stop the Killings in Newark Now!"

A troubled City controlled by the Democrat Party Machine for decades.

Electing this corrupt politician for 5 straight terms...
'The 33-count indictment charges James with allegedly facilitating and approving the cut-rate sales of city-owned land to a female companion.'

'James, 71, is also charged with using the credit cards for himself and eight women during vacations and trips to locations such as Puerto Rico, Martha's Vineyard, the Dominican Republic and Rio de Janeiro...'

Of course, when you read the MSM accounts of the corruption and crime in Newark, they never bother to mention anything about the Party who runs the show.

DEBATE

The Liberals are trying to boost the isolationist nonsense of Ron Paul, merely because he opposes fighting for freedom in Iraq.

They are now pumping his poll numbers on the mighty Drudge.

The Left's history for manipulation is legendary.

Beware...

However, the real Leaders debating today were Romney and Rudy.

Again, they remain a cut above the rest:
Giuliani saved his sharpest jabs for Democrats. "In four debates, not a single Democrat said the word, 'Islamic terrorists.' Now that is taking political correctness to extreme," he said.

Romney, too, was eager to criticize Democrats. His chosen target was Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois, who said recently he would be willing to meet with the leaders of Cuba, North Korea and Iran in his first year in office, and declared in a speech he would order military action to capture terrorists in Pakistan if that nation's president did not.

"I mean, in one week he went from saying he's going to sit down, you know, for tea, with our enemies, but then he's going to bomb our allies," said Romney. "I mean, he's gone from Jane Fonda to Dr. Strangelove in one week."

Mr. Fred Thompson, where are you?

The less the former Senator appears, the less respect he generates.

At the old 'screw them' convention!

"I think it's a position that John certainly has taken," she said, drawing laughter from the crowd. It was not clear whether the audience was laughing with her or at her.

Nonetheless, the bloggers booed and hissed when Clinton insisted a moment later that nobody would believe that she could be influenced by lobbyists' money.

Liberal lunacy lives...

Remember, this is a dishonest, corrupt Politician who voted to use force in Iraq, which the Kos Kids viciously oppose in every sense.

Make any sense at all?

Liberal loyalists rarely do...

Hillary and Bill Clinton once made it their policy to lie about the Genocide in Rwanda, caring little for the thousands slaughtered.

But the record doesn't matter to Liberal Partisans.

These bitter Democrats will support Hillary regardless of her vivid negligence, even as she continues to lie repeatedly to their faces.

Hillary now wants the USA to surrender in Iraq, but also (very quietly) claims she would leave a small force to fight al Qaeda.

But don't the Liberals believe this is just an excuse to get Oil?

Oh my...

Whatever happened to Ned Lamont anyhow?

UNDERMINING DEMOCRACY

It could not be more pathetic...
"House Democrats apologized today for wrestling what appeared to be a winning vote tally away from Republicans last night. Republicans continued to steam, however, over the episode, in which they appeared to be the winners by a 215-213 tally on a procedural motion designed to make sure illegal aliens would not get certain benefits from an agriculture spending bill."

Years ago, after the National Election of 2004, Barbara Boxer tried to weaken the results with a juvenile objection, intended to challenge Our incredible Republic's Vote.

For only the second time in USA History, (without any evidence and encouraged by a deceitful partisan named Michael Moore), Democrats decided to selfishly debase this remarkable tradition produced by Our Nation's Electorate.

Boxer characterized the objection as "the first round in the battle for electoral justice."

Very concerning and truly unattractive.

As if it is only unjust, when the Democrat Party loses elections.

"Their intention in this whole process is merely … to undermine public confidence in the electoral system itself," Pryce said. Challenges are "no more than another exercise in their party's primary goal to obstruct, to divide and destroy."

A true sign of unprecedented malfeasance and self-indulgent villainy.

Losers who will say and do anything out of greed.

And it is only getting worse.

Now when the Liberal Democrats lose Votes in the House, they simply declare the results as something else, changing the outcome.

The most dangerous aspect, the corrupted MSM and the Liberal Partisans are only enabling and encouraging the Swindle.

The Republic designed with liberty and justice for all, might be facing it's most problematic test yet.

Hillary's Surrender Plan

Senators Clinton and Kerry push a 'run away' plan, just as the incredible progress has become apparent in the newly liberated Iraq.

The mighty Sweetness & Light:
"Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton Thursday warned that a US withdrawal from Iraq must not duplicate the “arrogance and incompetence” she said marred the 2003 invasion."

Another cheap swindle, to encourage Democrats to support Hillary, and hide her original vote for the use of force in Iraq.

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons." - Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

Ironically, when it seemed popular, Hillary Rodham Clinton was seeking credit for the fall of Saddam.

But what has Mrs. Clinton ever done to help achieve victory in Iraq, after her initial authorization?

Nothing, of course...

The mighty Blogmeister:
"Frankly, I don't think she's changed much, especially when it comes to harnessing power for radical ends. Read it, and see if you don't agree with me."

If the work is genuine, it reveals a very weak intellect.

This is not a brilliant mind by any means, even in regards to the young age of this truly naive author.

Often, one has to wonder why some continue to push growing massive bureaucracy in Government, especially when we now have vivid proof of the inherent weakness in Socialism.

Socialist waste with overt taxation, kills incentive, limits freedoms, ruins opportunity, slows growth, creates unemployment, lowers the quality of life, cements economic classes, reduces cultural development, builds dependency, gives power to the few over the many, etc., etc...

Liberal Democrats are a living contradiction, as they bitterly oppose Monopolies, yet wish to empower Government to become the ultimate Monopoly.

Perhaps the problem is not only the corrupt nature of Politicians within the Democrat Party, who wish to bribe their special interest support for votes.

Maybe the misconceptions of those, who cannot grasp the positives of the powerful Free Market and the healthy society it produces, simply lack the intelligence for basic understanding.

This would explain a lot about the Clinton Folly, including their obsessive desire to raise taxation, and their mindless attempt to Nationalize Health Care.

Even the Clinton's silly underestimation of American Public might be the direct result of ignorance, mistakenly thinking the entire US Populace will accept any lie presented to them, whether it is about an Intern, or voting to authorize force in Iraq.

It could be, these corrupt minds were actually born of pure mental incapacity after all.
